Today Mini is 100 days post transplant. She is 100% donor...her body is no longer making sickle cells...she is free to go out into the world and live the life she's always dreamed of...
TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF HER LIFE.
To everyone who prayed and wished us well on this journey...I promise you, GOD IS GOOD. Just a couple of years ago we were told not to put our hopes on a cure...and look at Mini now...cured. To all the parents out there living with a special child with a chronic illness or with any child, I encourage you not to give up and whenever someone tells you no...keep going until you get a yes.
