Mini summer 2010
Yesterday was Mini's first clinic visit post transplant...She bundled up...mask, gloves, two scarves a hood a hat and her bubble coat (note to self...get a picture of this get up next time)...
The appointment went well...we were escorted right into the isolation room when we arrived...they took some blood and came back in 30 minutes with the results and we went home....that's it. Mini's platelets are high...and her hemoglobin is 11.8...it's never been that high...smile.
Mini's feeling so good she SKYPED into her class for an hour today...she is so excited to talk with all her friends...she even got two homework assignments...She loved that...because we are bored, bored, bored at home...A tutor will be coming to the house for 2 hours a day beginning next week...and Mini will be skyping into her 8th grade classroom for 2 hours a day...YEAH!
